Sunshine on Waterlilies

It was a nice feeling today to have completed my Watercolor Painting of Sunshine on Waterlilies. It took a little longer than anticipated but it was well-worth the effort. I learned a lot. This has been posted at my Second Life Art Gallery, Pixels-2-Canvas, for purchase. I shall return to my 2 commissioned portraits, the Second Life Avatar in watercolor and the other, a Real Life person, is to be done in pencil. It has been a very good week.

Waterlilies

Today I started a watercolor of waterlilies I found in Second-Life. I am using very much the same colors of Monet as an experiment. Although I prefer to work with oils I have gone back to the basics of pencil and charcoal to go back to my roots and the rudiments of art I have long let sit on the shelf. I will post it here soon when it is completed.

Up and Running

After a lengthy time I have finally taken the time to start my blog. I wish to develop it and express myself through the writings and the art that I do. I am totally new at this so I will stumble a time or two but I am sure those who follow this will understand as they have been down this road as well.
